Mysteries of the Shark Coast (2008)

you need to get the new flash player

Australia's north-eastern coast is a hotbed for shark activity, but the sharks here are disappearing.

A special team made up of pioneering Australian marine biologist Richard Fitzpatrick, noted shark documentary filmmaker and host Mike  deGruy, lead scientist for the Nature Conservancy M. Sanjayan, and  adventurer Celine Cousteau band together to discover the cause of the  mysterious decline in shark populations and to find out if we can  help the situation. To do so, the team satellite tags tigers, tags whitetips and greys, deploys crittercams and remote cameras - all to  explore and record shark behavior and to gather new insight into the  still largely secretive life of the ocean's ultimate predator.

A Discovery Channel commissioned film for Shark Week 2008
